－ Further develop the retail
industry in the region;
－ Enhance mutual communication;
－ Promote friendly, cooperative relations;
－ Encourage its members to expand commercial activities in the
whole region and to
subsequently
contribute to the improvement
of the economy and life of nations in the region;
and
－ Do any other things which are consistent with the preamble
of this constitution and the best
interests of retailers and
their representative bodies in the region.
